The Hotel Alpino is the first to be born in the sixties. The name was acquired from a well-known inn, no longer in activity.
The Hotel is located in a quiet, not busy area and it is lrun by the Bassetto family.
It has 30 rooms, each with bathroom, satellite TV and telephone.Aviano is a small commune of about 10,000 inhabitants, of whom about the half are soldiers of the American base U.S.A.f.. It is situated in the province of Pordenone.Its development began with the arrival of the Americans at the beginning of the fifties. It continued, then, with the building of the C.R.O. (the oncologie reference centre).

You can reach the Hotel arriving at the airport "Ronchi dei Legionari" (province of Ttrieste) or at the airport "Marco Polo" in Venice, wich are about 1 Hour and a half from Aviano
